How To Treat Piles

Piles are a very common health condition today that affects women more than it affects men. Otherwise referred to as hemorrhoids, piles are a very common condition where the veins found in the lower rectum (anus) get swollen and eventually inflamed, thus leading to bleeding, itching, and unbearable pain? Because blood has stagnated on the swollen veins, they appear bluish in color.

The medical explanation behind the occurrence of piles is that they are as a result of increased external and/ or internal pressure on the veins that surround the anal canal.
