How Piles Occur

The arteries are the source that gives blood to the anal canal by moving down into the canal over the large intestine which then creates a huge network of arteries. The blood vessels of Hemorrhoids become blocked and therefore the arterial blood cannot flow through. This is why blood loss from piles is light red in color in comparison to normal venous blood which is dark red in color. Therefore losing blood takes some time as the vessels of blood have to get through the tissues of hemorrhoidal cushions to give to the hemorrhoidal vessels.

The anal canal veins abstract blood from the way of the anal canal and the piles. The veins of the anal canal abstracts the blood in two directions. First direction is draining the blood upward into the large intestine and the second is draining the blood downward below the skin that covers the end of the alimentary canal. In the line of the anal canal, dentate lines exist which converts from the anal skin to the system of the large intestine.
